Colorful Sunrise Elopement in Downtown Las Vegas

Sunrise in Downtown Las Vegas is the exact opposite of sunset, in terms of activity and the overall experience. At sunrise, everything is quiet and seems to move at a slower pace. With the day just beginning, there are no crowds of people, loud music or announcers booming, and it almost feels forgotten. While the experience is much different, it’s such a great way to beat the Las Vegas heat and elope without drawing as much attention or curious eyes.

For Tay + Kee it was perfect! They were even able to include their little one! We began their day at a popular, local coffee shop called PublicUs. For a sunrise elopement, what better way is there to start the day?! After that, we wandered the streets of downtown and explored a few fun and colorful spots.

Over the years, Downtown Las Vegas has been undergoing a restoration process. In years past, it was beginning to look abandoned, rundown, and just sad. Now, it’s covered in colorful murals and unique restaurants + cafes. Being Las Vegas locals, Tay + Kee ended the morning with some photos in front of an epic Las Vegas mural.

This is what I love most about couples that choose to elope. For one couple, their elopement day is full of adventure, hiking, and exploring. While for another couple, their day consists of coffee shops, art, and wandering the city streets. This urban elopement really showcases what’s possible on your wedding day!
