You’ve made the big decision to elope, because you value the significance of intimacy.
Couples like you that are looking for an experience — full of meaning and something deeper than what’s traditional, are what I live for.
If you’re here, you probably value connection, nature, authenticity, and intention. Above all else, you value experiences over things.
Maybe you battled with whether or not you should just do the traditional thing like everyone else, but you realize that you want YOUR day to be about YOU. No pomp and circumstance, and no pressure, stress, or the expectation that comes with traditional weddings.
Exploring a breathtaking hiking trail likely excites you more than hitting up the club on a Friday night.
If all of this is resonating with you so far, then I’m really glad you’re here…
When it comes to eloping, there really are endless possibilities. But with those endless possibilities, maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed with no idea where or how to start.
While I am an elopement photographer…
I’m not just a photographer.
With me, you also gain a wedding planner, experienced traveler, passionate professional, and a co-creator of your lifetime memories.
Whether you’re captivated by the landscapes of national parks and want to exchange your vows amidst breathtaking and iconic views…
Or you are a free-spirit wanting an epic landscape, an epic adventure, and an epic experience too…
I will help you plan a day that’s full of intentional moments and meaningful memories you’ll never forget. We’ll co-create a stress-free and unforgettable experience, full of real connection.
No matter what your vision may be, we will take the things that hold meaning for you and find a way to bring them into your story.
Whatever form that takes.
We’ll start the co-creation process by working together to bring your elopement visions to life…
From start to finish, I’ll be there to guide you. We’ll discuss which location is the perfect spot for you to exchange your vows. I am a huge planner and thoroughly research and scout every location I photograph — whether I’ve been there before or not. Because this is the most important part of the experience, I will ensure your ceremony is somewhere breathtaking and somewhere that will look stunning in the wedding photos you’ll be hanging on the walls of your home together one day.
While sorting out all of the logistics, to keep things as low-stress as possible…
I have curated extensive vendor recommendation lists for locations that I frequently work in. Vendors I like to typically include are: officiants, florists, hair and makeup artists, and so on. Not only that, I’ve been approved for hundreds of permits with various state and national parks across the nation, so I can ensure things run smoothly and legally.
Creating a custom timeline so that the day has a natural and organized flow, is one of my specialities. It’s important that your experience can be documented at a relaxed and comfortable pace, without missing any of the big or small details. And you’ll have unlimited access to me to answer questions you may have along the way. By the time your date arrives, we’ll already have a strong bond and connection.
And finally — document the adventure of a lifetime, as you marry your best friend.
Our time together will end with me photographing and bearing witness to you exchanging your vows. Whether I’m the only one present, or you’ve chosen to include an intimate group of loved ones, you’ll be left with photographs to remember it all.
And I don’t just ‘take pictures,’ I tell stories. Your wedding day, big or small, is your love story — a collection of meaningful images that you can show to your children and grandchildren one day. Or that you can look back on and reminisce together on every anniversary.
I believe that tiny weddings should be artfully photographed.
For the nostalgic couple…
You’ll receive 5-10 polaroid images that you can take with you at the end of the day, as a keepsake and tangible memory of the unforgettable commitment you just made.
Why do I offer this to all of my couples?
There’s beauty and sentimentality involved with polaroid film that allows you to have instant, physical images. Polaroids also create feelings of nostalgia and the artistry of imperfection.
Instant film also allows you to have something you can share right away with loved ones that could not be present for your wedding. You can honeymoon with photos that can’t be replicated and never lose significance.
Flash back to your wedding day with a one-of-a-kind form of documentation.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE 5-STAR REVIEWS…
“From the start it felt like we already knew Gabriela. She is kind, caring, pays attention to detail, and she has the ability to turn a vision into a reality.”
“We don’t even know where to start. Our journey with Gabriela has been a long and amazing one! When we first reached out to Gabriela, we immediately hit it off! She helped, guided and supported us throughout this process.
On the day of the elopement she showed up nice and early. She supported us throughout the whole day & she made us feel very comfortable. Everything felt very natural. She picked up on the little hints or any uncertainties between us.
We completely trusted her. Our photos turned out amazing! Above and beyond what we expected! WE LOVE THEM! Gabriela is so so talented! All we can say is, if we had to do this all over again, we would not choose anyone else.”

Here’s a commonly asked question…
Can we still include traditional elements in our day?
You can absolutely include traditional elements in your day! You could do a first look, a first touch, write each other letters to read while you get ready, pop champagne, or sing a ballad for your fiancé in the next room.
After your vows and photos, why not do a first dance around a campfire and enjoy some s’mores together?
If you love to hike, you could… hike to your ceremony location, hike at sunrise before the festivities of the day, or hike the day before/after with loved ones or just the two of you.
FAQs
Do you travel?
Yes! Just let me know the city or state you’re interested in. If you’re still unsure, I can help you decide! Fill out my contact form here for more information. For international travel, I am currently only taking on one destination per year. Reach out and I can let you know if I’m available for your desired location.
How much planning do you assist with? Should we still hire a wedding planner/coordinator?
Most of my planning assistance deals with location, timeline, vendor recommendations, and special requests (i.e. you’d like help finding a place to stay, or finding which airport to fly into, etc.) I do my best to help you find not only the perfect overall location, but the exact spot to exchange your vows and take photos. That being said, anything to do with setup, design, coordination, or the like, would be best handled by a wedding planner.
My job is to create beautiful, intentional, and authentic imagery. I want to be present for you and deliver the best work that I can. I’m happy to guide you with any outdoor planning, but let’s leave the logistics and coordinating to the pros. I am more than happy to connect you with an amazing planner!
If I want to go to a location you’ve never photographed at, can you still help with locations?
YES. I am an experienced traveler and am constantly planning my own trips and bucket list locations. I stay up-to-date with travel blogs, extensive research, and Google earth/maps. I also carve out time prior to the big day to familiarize myself with the location beforehand.
I’m part of worldwide wedding vendor networks and can connect you with professionals for things like hair, makeup, florals, officiants, etc. I’m confident in my abilities to help you plan an incredible adventure in a brand new location, just as much as I am in locations that I’m familiar with.
I’m not sure where I want to get married. What location should I choose?
One of my favorite things is helping couples decide on a location. I spend hours physically scouting, Google mapping, and researching options that could make for an incredible backdrop. There are a few guidelines that make for an amazing locations, so once you book with me, I will share a list of options to start helping you narrow things down.
I encourage my couples to consider areas that hold meaning to them, as opposed to the most epic or popular locations. This way, you can have a more intimate and meaningful experience. Perhaps a little spot tucked in the woods is going to be more memorable for you then a popular tourist attraction with visitors everywhere.
How many images will I receive?
I do not guarantee how many images will be delivered regardless of the event type or session type. The reason being is, I have found guaranteeing a set amount of images ironically takes away from the gallery. I like to create galleries filled with beautiful, meaningful images. I don’t want your gallery to be filled with “fluff” images just to reach a guaranteed amount. However, rest assured that your gallery will contain all of the highlights from your day, the details, and everything in between. It’s about the quality of what was captured, not the quantity. The amount of coverage you have will play a big part in the gallery size. For example, a short elopement may receive anywhere from 200-400 images. Whereas a full day elopement or multi-day could have 500-1000.
I want to book, but what is your policy if I have to cancel due to COVID-19?
I completely understand that during this chaotic time it can feel nerve wracking to book. For that reason, I am happy to reschedule with you any event, elopement, intimate wedding, or session within a 12 month period with no rescheduling fees attached! You can secure your date with the peace of mind knowing that you can reschedule with me for another date if necessary. (This applies to COVID-19 cancellations only)
Can I have the RAW (original) files?
No. Editing is part of what defines my work and style. Editing also enhances your final images and is what brings them to life! Not to mention, RAW files are very large and not easily viewable.
How soon do I get my images?
My average turn around time for full galleries is up to 8 weeks. You will receive sneak peeks within the first week after your elopement/wedding, along with 5-10 Polaroid photos to enjoy on the big day.
I am deeply honored that you’re considering me to photograph this momentous occasion in your lives.
If you’re looking for someone who truly wants to bring your wedding day dreams to life, wants to help you create a meaningful experience, and wants to document your day authentically in an artistic way then…
