Alberto + Brianna are one of the cutest couples I’ve met. They are a reserved pair, but the sweetest to be around. I first met Brianna when I photographed her graduation pictures to celebrate her Master’s degree. As I got to know her, I realized what a gem she is. She has a strong desire to help others and has centered her life around that kind of work. When she reached out to me to photograph her engagement pictures in the mountains, I knew I couldn’t say no.
We met up at a lodge in the mountains. These mountains are one of my favorite places. They are away from all of the lights and boom of the city. Quiet + peaceful. On the windy road up to the lodge, you’ll pass hills and joshua trees. The air becomes more cool and crisp, especially on this particular day. Once at the lodge, there are stunning views. I always like to arrive a little early just to take it all in.
We carpooled from there to our destination. Right from the start we could feel the cold, but Brianna was tough and ready for action. We spent that afternoon just having fun and taking pictures. Later, we traveled back down the mountain and enjoyed the warmth of the sun during the golden hour.
