Oregon Elopement Locations & Guide
- Crafting an Experience Thatβs Focused on You -
Hey, Iβm Gabriela!
I am an adventure elopement + intimate wedding photographer, thatβs deeply passionate about photography and creating incredible experiences + meaningful memories for my couples.
If youβve landed here, you are likely imagining what your day could look like, in beautiful Oregon.
Oregon is a fascinating state in the PNW, thatβs full of so many different landscapes, from stunning beaches to epic sand dunes! It is a place that I personally love and I know you will too. You name it β Oregon has it.
How to Elope in Oregon
Oregon is one of those places that has an overload of options to choose from for your elopement. I am here not only as your photographer, but as your guide.
I will help you find the perfect spot to exchange your vows, help you plan your day with intention, and help you include other vendors + activities to make your day more than just your vows β but an experience. Oregon has so much to offer that can be included in your day, such as: hot springs, ATVβs, quirky foodie spots, hikes, trails, and more!
Letβs alleviate your stress, plan a meaningful experience, and make YOU the focus!
Where to Elope in Oregon
This is one of the number one questions Iβm asked when it comes to eloping. Here are just a few suggestions as you begin your searchβ¦
Waterfalls β There are numerous waterfalls to choose from in Oregon. Some are near Portland such as Wahclella Falls + Latourell Falls. There are others further south such as Sahalie + Koosah Falls. Waterfalls are a great option for optimal privacy, because the noise of the rushing water allows for your vows to be heard by just the two of you. There are well known options like the ones mentioned above, and lesser known options to choose from.
Beaches β Oregon beaches are very unique and beautiful. Many of them have stunning cliff and rock formations as well as tall grass and breathtaking views. Some are near sand dunes like Pacific City and Florence. Beaches offer tranquility and relaxation. In Oregon, they also offer many different landscapes for your day. This could be a great option if youβre seeking fun, beauty, and variety.
State or National Parks β I feel like Oregon is just one, giant park. There are so many to choose from, all over the state. There are forests, waterfalls, cliffs, lakes, high deserts, and so much more. Most state and national parks require permitting in order to host your elopement there. I will help you with acquiring the appropriate paperwork and information for any location you choose. The list of parks is too extensive to include here, but feel free to reach out and we can decide on whatβs best for you.
Lakes + Rivers β The lakes and rivers in Oregon are like no other. The Columbia River Gorge has so many trails, islands, and scenic hikes. There is Trillium Lake with an amazing view of Mt. Hood and Crater Lake with one of the most picturesque scenes in all of Oregon. Lakes + rivers offer a breathtaking backdrop for your elopement and can be very intimate. Some locations allow you to be right on beach, and others allow you to be high on a cliff with the river down below.
These locations are just a beginning to give you ideas, as you start shaping what you want your day to look like. We can brainstorm together and craft an incredible experience.
