How to Plan Your Session
Your session can be anywhere from 2-5 hours in length. This time can include driving to and exploring an area that’s significant to you as a couple. I always suggest including activities that you love in your session — simple or grand. This could be skiing, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, a picnic and much more!
Whatever you choose, the focus should be enjoying this time together and/or doing the things that bond you as a couple.
Perhaps you aren’t as adventurous, but you like hopping around to different local breweries or just baking cookies in the comfort of your own home!
The purpose of these sessions is to give you a little time as a couple to slow down and enjoy the things you love doing together — no matter where that takes you.
Below are a few ideas of activities to do during your session.
Session Ideas
Take a hike!
With mountain views being so readily accessible and several trails to explore, we can find a beautiful backdrop for your adventure session. I suggest a trail that is 2-8 miles in length (round trip) for best results. Be sure to bring at least two outfits. One for hiking and one for portraits.
Travel somewhere new!
Want to visit somewhere you’ve never been? Maybe an adventure session is the perfect time to take the leap! Wander and trek together, with your own personal photographer documenting every minute. I’ve hiked through the jungle, gone off-roading across sand dunes, thrown snow balls, and discovered hobbit holes. The sky is the limit!
Plan an epic picnic!
Picnics can be cozy, sweet, and a great date idea. We’ll find a spot or area that speaks to you and bring along your favorite snacks, a blanket, and maybe some wine or champagne!
Explore downtown!
My local area in Las Vegas has much to offer in the way of the eclectic and artistic. Not sure where to go? Not a problem. I will give you ideas and suggestions of my favorite local spots! If you love your local city or downtown area, let me know where you are located and I’ll tag along the tour.
Ride a boat or hang at the beach!
There are many places within our beautiful country that you can visit and take a romantic boat ride or go on an adventurous kayaking trip. Let me know what you’re envisioning, and I’ll make it happen!
